“ I was feeling adventurous so I decided to explore DC Donut's coffee menu. First I ordered a Vanilla Frappucino. It was really good, better than Paris Baguette and larger (24 ounce I believe). It comes with two shots of espresso and tastes like coffee. Much better than Starbucks who doesn't even give you a shot in their Frappucinos anymore. My next visit, I thought the coffee was so good in that Frappucino, so I ordered an americano just to see how good the coffee itself was. They are using Gavina beans (not third wave), so there was no fruitiness, but people who like their coffee to taste like coffee (dark roast) should be satisfied. A small americano is just $2.75. For the espresso snobs, they are using a Casadio Undici espresso machine. I will definitely be coming back for another Vanilla Frappucino! ”

“ Our home is surrounded by doughnut shops. Most of Los Angeles is. Yet, we will drive the few extra minutes/miles to come to DC Donut. The staff is friendly (especially to my 3 young boys who know doughnuts for breakfast mean it's a special day) and happy to help out however needed. Even when my kids are unable to make up their mind they smile & wait patiently. The Doughnuts themselves are always delicious. They taste fresh and have both the perfect mix of chew and light fluff to them. They walk that fine line perfectly. I've tried many of their different styles and have never been disappointed. “ Really really good breakfast croissant my go to is the bacon egg and cheese croissant I add mayo and avocado sooo damn good . Freshly squeezed orange juice makes my Sandwich 1000x better ! My kids love the donuts and shakes . ”

The shop is small and not so fabulous-looking, but judge not! The hearts and minds are put in the foods and services, exactly what you really want when you step a foot in a donut/sandwich shop. In these days where a MickeyD's meal could cost as much as 10 bucks with like a frozen burggie and 6 sad nuggies, you'll have a louder bang for your buck with a freshly made sandwich and a drink. Yes, they do make fresh batches and drinks every day. When the lady/owner is happy, she occasionally gives out free donut balls, and boy, did I dare to decline such generosity. ”

“ Spent the weekend in LA with some friends and we were just about to leave the valley and drive back to the Bay Area. I really didn't want any fast food, so we decided to make a quick stop. Found DC Donut Cafe on Yelp and saw pictures of these huge fluffy croissants. They are tucked in the corner of the 7-11 parking lot. Came in at the perfect time, a group just walked out and there was no line! Greeted by a very friendly woman (guessing she is the owner). Placed my order - she recommended to add avocado and that was a great addition. I watched as they cooked fresh eggs, warmed the bacon on the griddle and started to build the sandwich. Yes, the croissants are as large and fluffy as they look, but they also taste incredible. All the flaky layers of dough!!!!! Everything is so fresh here and everyone is also very friendly. So happy to find another great food spot for our LA adventures! ”

“ I've been here a quite a few times since it's close by and everything is always fresh and delicious. You can't go wrong with anything you order here, food or drink. I've tried the Breakfast Burrito, Breakfast Croissant, Vietnamese coffee, fresh juice(s), to name a few. And let me not forget to mention the donuts, mind you, I am not a big donut fan, or sweets fan in general, but I did have a chance to try a couple of their donuts and I was surprised at how good they were. ”
